Small Announcements, Big Speculations

Happy 4th of July!

As noted on the forums, we have two new staff members!

Heather or mysterioushb on the forums, is Anime St. Louis' new Guest Liaison. She has a metric boat load of experience in convention working, and aided Jeremy, who was Guest Liaison for the past two years.

Bryan is the new Anime Room Director and brings a lot of experience to the table as well. After all, he DOES run one of St. Louis' largest anime-viewing clubs.

~~~
We're still negotiating with the Doubletree Hotel to see if we can afford it. The Senior Staff will be looking at a second venue sometime soon (probably next week). We really want the Doubletree, but it's in our best interests to look at multiple locations, just in case.
~~~

Our new guest liaison, Heather, has been most kind in her attempts to contact a certain person that the staff would like as a guest. We won't say anything yet in case it doesn't work out, but this girl is working her bum off already to bring some awesome people to Anime St. Louis.

~~~
The Marketing Committee is hard at work looking for comic-book shops, anime clubs, geek hotspots, and other conventions to get fliers out to. It's a big job considering they're trying to do this for all of Missouri's neighboring states. If you have any ideas or recommendations, email Marketing Director Cat Thompson at advertisingastl@gmail.com.
